About the role

Bathurst Regional Council is seeking suitable and motivated individuals for the position of General Labourer - Signs and Marking, to undertake various labouring duties associated with road construction and maintenance activities with Council road construction and maintenance crews. 

The successful applicant will need to have knowledge of civil projects with particular regard to line marking, sign maintenance and installation.  

Key Requirements

•Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence, as a minimum.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Knowledge and experience of road construction and maintenance principles.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Adequate numeracy and literacy skills to fulfil the requirements of the position.

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug and alcohol screen.

Salary: $980.20 - $1,029.86 per week (plus adverse working conditions allowance level 1 of $18.92 per week) + superannuation

Position Status: Permanent Full-time 

Hours of work: 38 hours per week with an RDO every second week
